RPNY Tennis provides services to top professional tennis players as well as amateurs.

Our Story, Part 1:

RPNY Tennis was built in New York City with one clear mission: serve players at the very highest level — and everyone chasing it.

Founded by Roman Prokes, RPNY brings over 40 years of experience in the tennis industry. Since 1991, Roman has been a constant presence on both the ATP and WTA Tours, working alongside legends and champions such as Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jim Courier, Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova, Lindsay Davenport, Madison Keys, and Frances Tiafoe.

From Grand Slam stages to local courts, RPNY became known for elite racquet customization, precision stringing, and premium retail services. Based in Manhattan for 25+ years, the shop offered easy access to world-class expertise — the kind trusted by some of the best players in the world.

Over the decades, Roman has strung racquets across nearly every continent (all except Antarctica!) and built its reputation on deep knowledge of the game and an unmatched ability to truly listen to what players need.

RPNY Tennis is bringing its legacy of excellence to Tennessee through a new partnership with the Farm & Forge Club — blending decades of tour-level experience with a fresh, community-driven chapter.

The same commitment to customization, detail, and player-first service remains at the core. Whether working with professionals, high-performance juniors, or dedicated amateurs, RPNY continues to deliver the highest level of racquet expertise and personal attention.
